Review Policy

My history of being a bookworm goes way back, it's only up until recently I got into writing.  Though, I have kept a journal ever since I could remember.  It had always been my outlet and it's only recently that I realized that I could have the best of both worlds - reading and writing, through book reviews.

Anyways on to my "review policy" for formality's sake :))) :

GENRE:
I tend to lean towards young adult genre.  Historical fiction, chick lit, mystery/thriller, dystopian novels interest me, anything that involves history, fashion and travel.  Though I'm really not particular as long as the synopsis piqued my interest - I'm more than willing to read it.

FORMAT:
Paperbacks would be highly appreciated - nothing beats the look and feel of a real book but PDF and mobi formats would do.

REVIEW CONTENT:
As much as I want to provide positive feedbacks on books I have read, I would also be completely honest with my reviews.  Don't worry, I tend to really look for the good points of the book and highlight it on my reviews. But if I didn't like it enough to be able to finish it - I would say so as well.  Most of my reviews are based on how I feel about the book and not necessarily on the technicalities of it though I sometimes point out some of these things from time to time like plot execution, turn of events and the like.

RATING SYSTEM:
1/5 - I can't finish it.
2/5 - An okay read, nothing special though.
3/5 - I liked it.
4/5 - I really really liked it, but there is something lacking.
5/5 - I LOVE IT, PERFECT! :)

*Reviews would be posted on this blog, Goodreads, Smashwords and Amazon.
